Flower power.

Reuse bottle caps to make a garden of Buzz Bee and Blue Butterfly.

Materials: 6 or more plastic bottle caps, paint, scissors and glue.
# Sheets: 2

Instructions:

  1. Paint 5 of the caps with you favorite color to make the petals. Paint one cap yellow: this will be the pollen for Buzz Bee and Blue Butterfly.

  2. Glue the 5 colored petals to make a flower.

  3. Paste the yellow pollen cap on to of the petals.

  4. Print the second sheet on recycled paper and cut out the kawanimals!

  5. paste them on your flowers and make a kind garden for Buzz Bee and Blue Butterfly.

Caregivers: Use this activity as an opportunity to teach children why it’s important not to pick flowers and plant some flowers if you can! Small children may need help using scissors.
Purpose: Encourage children to reuse trash in creative ways. Environmental Conscience
